For Nada Miami 2024, Coulisse Gallery integrates the distinctive conceptual and material practices of Christofer Degrér, Julia Kowalska, and Kelsey Shwetz. Each artist engages with a diverse array of issues, including ecological concerns, interpersonal relationships, and socio-political questions. A common thread running through their works is the use of fiction, narration, and storytelling. These elements mirror lived experiences but are presented in an allegorical space, employing metaphors and surrealist interventions that contribute to immersive world-building.
