Ewa Opalka Gallery
Warsaw
Description
Ewa Opałka Gallery presents works by two young female painters. Edna Baud’s works mark the beginning of a new series that explores a visual language representing the interface between humans and technology. The collection’s centerpiece tells the story of a Compiler—a program designed to translate code into a language understood by machines—unfolding as a love story that transcends boundaries. Luka Wozniczko was ten years ahead of the neo-surrealist trend in young Polish painting. Her works convey a dense yet grotesque atmosphere, reminiscent of unsettling dreams set in swamp-like landscapes.
