NADA Miami 2024

Ceysson & Bénétière is pleased to present a two-person booth with sculptures by French-Portuguese artist Wilfrid Almendra and paintings by Japanese artist Tomona Matsukawa. This selection emphasizes both artists’ use of light and their implication of slow, deliberate movement. These works also feel like traces of life. A semi-eaten plate of food, boots left casually on the floor, a sock on a shelf. Together, the works on view create a moment of stillness and lingering — a break from the hectic pace we’re accustomed to.
