NADA Miami 2024

Iowa is situated in a former small bedroom in Brooklyn. The scale and domestic nature of the gallery work symbiotically with our programming: exhibitions gravitate towards explorations of intimacy. At once spatial and relational, intimacy represents a mode of interaction with one’s environment that resists depersonalization. The three artists in our NADA Miami presentation, Marisa Kriangwiwat Holmes, Ruby Jackson, and Sasha Miasnikova, draw from archives of pattern, memory, and material to create works that reflect on intimate encounters in the home, at work, online, and in the studio.
