‘Only game I know is liquor’ portrays an insect matching the size of the chalice it is perched on, consuming the sweet liquid inside. Below the insect is a burning flower, steel-like and invincible. The piece symbolizes the effects of mind-altering substances on people, the fading of inhibitions, and escapism.

The ceramic roof tiles coated with platinum glaze represent an iteration of a 2023 series of works that originated from a concern for the sustainable stewardship of cultural heritage sites but have since transformed to encompass broader social commentary with an element of absurdity.
