NADA Miami 2024

At NADA Miami 2024 we present a dialogue between Ria Bosman (BE, 1964) & Kevin McNamee-Tweed (US, 1984) who share an unconventional engagement with painting’s presiding frame: the rectangle, next to a special feature by Anneke Eussen (NL, 1978). Ria Bosman’s handwoven and painted textiles often feature multiplying rectangles, establishing dialogues of colour. Kevin McNamee-Tweed’s wall-hanging glazed ceramics occur in irregular rectangular forms, and, like Bosman, often feature frames within frames—such as in his renderings of interior spaces, studios, domestic settings in which objects, paper
