NADA Miami 2023

King’s Leap presents a group booth featuring Eli Bornowsky, Carolyn Forrester, Audrey Gair, and Emi Mizukami. The four artists provide new positions in abstract painting using collage, tessellations, texture, and language. Each artist resists the homogeny of mere aesthetic formality; rather, they emphasize process and mediated experiences, drawing more questions than conclusions. Referencing screens, algorithms, financial markets, and mythological allegory, these artists approach the precarious nature of subjectivity in the role of the painter.
