NADA and TD Bank are pleased to present Curated Spotlight, a special section at NADA Miami 2023 curated by Jenée-Daria Strand, Assistant Curator at Public Art Fund. Curated Spotlight will feature eight presentations from exhibiting galleries.
“Curated Spotlight at NADA Miami is a catalyst for the meteoric rise of emerging galleries and artists, and I am honored to be organizing its third Miami iteration this year. With presence spanning three countries, including five states across the US, each gallery brings a dynamic and contemplative approach to their solo presentations––some of whom are participating in NADA Miami for the first time. Each artist’s work exemplifies an exciting multi-modal creative practice, whether in physical form or conceptual thought, and reflects the creative ethos emerging across the art world today. The experience of curating this platform in the context of an art fair is incredibly gratifying, and the support of TD Bank makes each iteration increasingly impactful.” – Jenée-Daria Strand.
This marks the fourth iteration of the Curated Spotlight program, which has been a fan-favorite at both NADA’s Miami and New York fairs. The section was introduced at NADA Miami 2021 with a selection of works by Ebony L. Haynes, and after a successful debut, was presented at NADA New York 2022, curated by Kendra Jayne Patrick and NADA Miami 2022, curated by Joeonna Bellorado-Samuels.
