Sustaining and Supporting AAPI Artists
Sustaining and Supporting AAPI Artists
NADA Presents
535 West 22nd Street, 4th Floor
Join NADA and the Asian American Arts Alliance (A4) for a special conversation on cultivating sustainable AAPI representation in the art market. At a time when AAPI art and artists are more visible than ever, how can stakeholders in the art world support and grow this momentum? For this discussion, Shannon Lee (The Amp) will speak with Lisa Gold (Director of A4), Sadaf Padder (Founder of Alpha Arts Alliance), and Jon Santos (Founder of Ontopo) about the ways in which they are supporting AAPI artists, giving voice to their communities, and what it will take to sustain meaningful conversations around inclusion and representation of AAPI artists.
NADA Presents will take place at 535 West 22nd Street, 4th Floor, with programs occurring daily May 18th through May 20th at 1pm and 3pm. All programs are free and open to the public. Capacity is limited, and guests will be seated on a first come first served basis.
