The second edition of the New York Gallery Open, presented by the New Art Dealers Alliance, brings together over 60 art galleries, non-profits, and alternative spaces around New York City.
As an extension of NADA’s year-round efforts to support its gallery members, the New York Gallery Open is a series of events with the objective of bringing more people into galleries and their diverse exhibition programs throughout the city. With a programming series comprised of guided tours, artist talks, performances, dinners, special events, and a partnership with See Saw, NADA aims to cultivate a renewed sense of energy, viewership and patronage within these critical spaces; and highlight the vitality and importance of the gallery community to the overall arts ecosystem.
Art galleries, open to the public year-round, are central to the fabric of New York City’s cultural landscape. The New York Gallery Open is an opportunity to call attention to this great resource by building stronger relationships with the public and cultivating new audiences both locally and internationally.
