The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) is now accepting applications from curators to organize the TD Bank Curated Spotlight, a special exhibitor section at the 11th edition NADA New York, May 8–11, 2025.

The project invites the curator to select nine galleries to participate in the fair with solo artist presentations. The section is dedicated to artists living and working in North America, with a focus on showcasing underrepresented artists and art spaces. The selected galleries will be granted subsidized booth fees to support their participation.

Responsibilities & Application Process:
Responsibilities include conversations with prospective participants, providing guidance on booth presentations and how to plan for a successful art fair, liaising with the NADA team and TD Bank, engaging with press inquiries, and more. Additionally, the curator is expected to provide a brief curator statement for inclusion in press announcement and promotional materials; lead a tour of the Curated Spotlight at NADA New York 2025; attend a special reception for special guests of TD Bank and participants in the section; and organize one public program as part of the NADA Presents programming series.

It’s helpful for potential candidates to have some commercial gallery or art fair experience, but not required. The time commitment is an average four hours per week for 12–16 weeks, this accounts for some longer work weeks and some with no work requirements. The compensation fee for the project is $10,000 USD.
