Galerie Anne Barrault opened in 1999 in the Marais district of Paris and is located in its current space rue des Archives since 2013. Ever since the start, the gallery has devoted itself to contemporary art with a focused commitment to the presentation of young artists. From its opening twenty years ago, Galerie Anne Barrault has constantly built up new ties with various disciplines like cinema, comics, and poetry.
