A.I.R. Gallery
New York
Description
The A.I.R. Fiftieth Anniversary Print Portfolio is the result of a collaboration between A.I.R. Gallery, the longest-running collective of women artists in the United States, and The LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies at Columbia University.
This portfolio is the second in the gallery’s history to feature an introductory essay by writer, curator, and activist Lucy R. Lippard, continuing a tradition begun in 1976.
Founded in 1972, A.I.R. Gallery is a feminist alternative arts organization for women and non-binary artists.
