REGULARNORMAL presents Parasomnia, a solo exhibit by Dominican artist Pedro Troncoso, for this upcoming NADA Art Fair 2023, showcasing a collection of five captivating art pieces exploring the delicate interplay between post-pandemic common sleep disorders, surreal manifestos of expanded masculinities, and the self. Through this body of work, encompassed of acrylic/oil self-portraits of alter egos, Troncoso deftly navigates the complex tapestry of identity and relationship with universal timing. It employs a rich palette dominated by nighttime’s dark hues, interwoven with vibrant gradients.
