NADA Miami 2022

Aya Brown, Brooklyn-based artist, uses her art to express love and care for her community. Her works are personal pieces, she says “the reason I make these works is because they stem from my idea of sisterhood, community and bringing people together.”
This marks Aya’s first solo show, presenting six new works inspired by intimate family portraits rendered with love and attention to detail, giving the viewer a direct glimpse into her personal story in her distinctive interpretation of those moments while aiming to create work that is accessible and relatable to the people in her community.
