The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) and TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, are pleased to announce Curated Spotlight, a special section at NADA Miami 2022 curated by Joeonna Bellorado-Samuels, Director of Jack Shainman Gallery and Founder of We Buy Gold—a roving gallery presenting exhibitions, commissioned projects, and public events. Curated Spotlight will feature eight solo presentations by exhibiting galleries.
This marks the third iteration of the Curated Spotlight program, which has been a fan favorite at both NADA’s Miami and New York fairs. The section was introduced at NADA Miami 2021 with a selection of works by Ebony L. Haynes, and after a successful debut, was presented at NADA New York 2022, curated by Kendra Jayne Patrick.
“It’s an honor to be organizing Curated Spotlight for NADA Miami this year. I’m thrilled to be offering this opportunity to an incredible community of artists and galleries—some of which are participating in NADA Miami for the first time. Each presentation in Curated Spotlight was selected from the broader NADA community, and in a few cases, I worked closely with the galleries to determine who to show as a solo presentation, which made this venture feel even more personal from a curatorial perspective. The support from TD Bank has been invaluable, and we’re grateful to continue the program after launching in Miami last year,” said Joeanna Bellorado-Samuels.
