Gattopardo is thrilled to present the work of Manyu Gao and Gabriel Madan. The two emerging artists share a syncopated syntax of animated forms that convey the sharp, and often lonely contours of our current moment under a vivid, sometimes even bombastic patina of painterly prowess. Together, Gao and Madan produce a conceptually rich and formally delightful offering that relishes in exploring the false innocence of learning and making.
