NADA Miami 2022

For NADA Miami 2022 Margot Samel presents a two-person exhibition
with Kris Lemsalu (b. 1985 in Tallinn, Estonia) and Sarah Margnetti (b. 1983 in Monthey, Switzerland). This presentation brings together two artists who engage with the world of the theater—its stage sets, masks, costumes, and curtains—to explore performance and theatrical imagery. Lemsalu and Margnetti both engage with viewership and seeing in relation to bodily forms and their spatial performance. Both artists incorporate fragmented forms placed together to create new metaphors and incite unique encounters.
