Hanna Krzysztofiak recalls her memories of seemingly trivial situations that troubled her this spring. One morning she heard a noise outside her window. She opened the curtain and on the balcony was a jackdaw missing the feathers on its head. Her first association was with the war; she later read in a newspaper that this could only be the aftermath of an attack from an aggressive crow.
