NADA Miami 2022

Bookends (Study) is Snowfro’s first release after the creation of Chromie Squiggles. A departure from the artist’s signature Squiggle collection, Bookends (Study) recalls Snowfro’s background in ceramics. The imperfect round shape at the center of the work is directly inspired by a handmade work of ceramic made by the artist, which he then translated into a code-based work of art. The natural, imperfect shape of the ceramic is set against clean geometric lines, thus bridging the gap between the physical and digital worlds. An edition of 50, the work was released as part of the Grails collection by PROOF in August 2022.
