Calderón is proud to present three new paintings by Danielle De Jesus. The three works carry on De Jesus' depiction of life, people, and environment in the Bushwick neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York, where the artist is from. These three works are portraits of male figures that employ symbols of domesticity to highlight the bond between men, their mothers, and their community.
