About Parkmart:
Parkmart is a New York City collective created during the pandemic to support emerging artists and brands lacking resources outside the online space. What started as a one-time pop-up market at Maria Hernandez Park turned into a series of monthly artist flea markets in various public parks. This evolved into an after-party series called Darkmart, which emerged as NYC nightlife transitioned in 2020. In 2022, a year after Parkmart's initial public park events, the collective moved to warehouse venues, focusing on large-scale events. Now, Parkmart is the go-to market for up-and-coming DIY and independent brands, artists, and publishers to showcase and sell their work.
