NADA East Broadway is pleased to host The Cave: Unveiling Illusions, a group exhibition of works by four artists presented by EXOgallery. The exhibition opens Tuesday, December 19 and will be on view through January 2, 2024.
The Cave: Unveiling Illusions is a multidisciplinary show that delves into the profound concepts presented in Plato's philosophical allegory, "The Cave”. Inspired by Plato's essay, this captivating exhibition invites viewers to question the nature of reality, perception, and the pursuit of truth.
Four gallery artists: Carmen Belean, Ivo Nikic, Udo Spreitzenbarth, and Kinga Su present artworks that challenge the boundaries of perception. Each artist in their own idiosyncratic artistic language explores the idea of the perceived versus the reality. Each artwork on display aims to evoke introspection and invites one to question the shadows that may govern one own existence.
