The Salon by NADA and The Community

“Balloon,” “Stain #1” and “Legs asleep” are three representations of grief, together forming an “exquisite corpse”, the collaborative game made popular by the Surrealists. The three limbs are clothed, bandaging beaded sores that seep through the fabric, dripping from one work to another. Slowly, maybe, the immense loss will make its way across the corpse to the surface. And like the moulds of my grandmother’s hands still stretched in her old gloves, keep its shape.
