Deanna Evans Projects is pleased to present a solo booth of paintings by Lumin Wakoa. Wakoa’s current body of work explores the concept of painting en plein air. Many of her works begin outside then continue to develop in her studio and sometimes even return outside. The paintings explore subtle color shifts, rhythmic outward movement, and can feel like they are pressing forward into the canvas. Each work is a dialogue between the visible world and the interior remembrance of it.
