Under a blanket, we can see the open eyes of someone tucked underneath, and some worm larvae that confusingly resemble erotic toys - a distant reference to the reports of horrific sex crimes committed by Russian soldiers. The blanket is a symbol of safety, and in the times before the war, the toys could only be associated with pleasure. The image is like remorse, a sense of shame in people who, although sympathetic to the plight of their neighbours, continue to enjoy their lives.
