On view is a solo presentation by the Danish artist Rasmus Myrup. Through constructive imaginations, informed by natural history, anthropology and archaeology, Myrup creates drawings and sculptural installations that engage personal and shared histories, raising questions about our perception of what it means to be human today
On the walls are three silverpoint drawings and one larger graphite frame. These works depict prehistoric narratives amongst archaic hominids that were never recorded, but undoubtedly expressed. They convey acts of love—scenes of bathing, grooming, and maintenance. Hanging from the ceiling are stalactite formations that set the stage for where these hominid characters would have resided.
