This painting begins with my love of spring, pink and yellow fill me with joy and delight. When I received a grant I was able to buy the expensive fabrics from the store. I also used a model to create the form and feeling. It focuses on fast and slow movement, how time is measured by different marks. The surface is multidimensional and I want the viewer to want to feel the painting, creating an emotional and visceral response to the work.
