Now more than ever, alternative and virtual art spaces are playing a key role in the development of the art world. In this discussion, Makayla Bailey (Rhizome) will speak with Paul Hill (Strada), Rachel Rossin (Dunkunsthalle), and Simon Wu (Arkive) about the ways in which they are reimagining meaningful art spaces outside the traditional white-box model. From an artist-run project space built out of a defunct Dunkin' Donuts, to a decentralized museum that prioritizes community voices, to a future-oriented gallery focused on redesigning a more inclusive art world, our panelists will speak about how their spaces foster community, education, and resource sharing.

NADA Presents will take place at 535 West 22nd Street, 4th Floor, with programs occurring daily May 18th through May 20th at 1pm and 3pm. All programs are free and open to the public. Capacity is limited, and guests will be seated on a first come first served basis.

NADA New York and NADA Presents are both wheelchair accessible. An ASL interpreter will be present at all NADA Presents programs, and recordings of each NADA Presents program will be available online following the event.
