Ishraki Kazi is based in Shanghai and New York. Her work is deeply engaged with the complex ethics of working with non-human organisms in art and research. By looking at othered organisms, Kazi reflects upon those in society who have been marginalized and othered through the generations.

Through one-on-one sessions with audience participants, Ishraki invited individuals to delve into the subjective components of knowledge production. Each participant engaged with various performative scenarios that ignited dialogues and interactions with multi-others from human to animal and microbial entities.
