Zach Seeger is a painter, sculptor, and writer working in Queens, New York. His piece “House, car and fire” is a representation of domestic life seen through the lens of surveillance and paranoia. Humans are struggling to navigate and survive in a world that lures us with fame through production and accumulation. At the same time, art and sports provide many people with an escape from their tumultuous reality. As an artist, Seeger feels responsible to create and bring pleasure, while trying to represent the contradiction of what being a creator poses to the earth.
